Mushy feelings

I'm currently chatting with the husband online. We do that a lot. Some may find it weird since we see each other everyday. It's just our thing.

We seem to have a lot to say to each other online despite living under the same roof.

Anyway, the husband wanted to know how to spell the name of our unborn. So, I typed out her full name.

Iliya May Mohd Aznin.

That brought a wave of mushy emotions that I have never experience before.

I couldn't quite explain it at first and it was sort of overwhelming.

I think I understand it now.

When we were picking names and deciding on the proper spelling for the name, I'd write her name down a lot on my notebook and exam pad. But I would only write her maiden name.

So it was always, Nurul Ilya, Ilya May, and finally Iliya May.

*sidetrack: The reason for the various spellings of the name Iliya was because we're translating the name from arabic and it can get a little tricky when you're doing that because it's kind of hard interpreting how it's suppose to be spelt. Kinda like chinese names in that respect.

However today, I typed her entire name. That sort of made me realize that she's not just Iliya May, she's also Mohd Aznin's daughter.

That explains the mushyness of it all. Seeing her in a whole different perspective.

You get what I mean? No? It's okay. I don't think I explained it well enough. But the husband got what I was trying to say when I explained it to him.

That's all that matters.

Oh a less sappy note, the husband typed, "baby, give a kick for me."

Sure enough the parasite kicked me twice on my left ribs. *thump - thump*

Such a daddy's girl.

Hi. Do you know me from somewhere? You must since you know my name. :) Who are you?

Thanks for visiting and I'm glad my stories make you smile. Pregnancy is indeed an interesting journey, isn't it?

It's nice to have someone else in the same state as I to be visiting. :)

So you're having a boy? Congratulations.

Thanks for the info on the baby exhibition. However, I don't think I'll be able to make it as my due date is expected to be on the 4th of september. :) Hehe..

Thanks again, and take care.
