Baby post

Went for the 2 week checkup last Saturday. Nothing new to report. Except that I didn't put on any weight. The parasite did though. She put on 300gms. Heheh.. She's close to 2kgs now.

She's still in the transverse position. Which basically means, she's not head down yet. The doctor said There's nothing to worry about as the baby still has room to tumble about. So, I won't worry. Either way, I'm not going to worry even if we near the due date and she's still transversed. If she doesn't turn, I'll just have the c-section. As long as the baby is healthy and safely delivered. That's all that matters.

The doctor can turn the baby by hand but I heard it's a painful process and there is a slight chance of harming the baby in the process. Another way is to use instruments during delivery to change the baby's position. I don't think I want to risk it just to avoid surgery.

We've bought the baby carseat and stroller. We bought both items from Bebehaus 1Utama. The owner was nice and gave us quite a substantial discount. We picked neutral colors for both items. The carseat is a greyish black color so it won't look dirty even when it is. Haha.. How practical.

Still have to buy the crib and some other smaller items but all in all, thats it. For now at least.

The parasite kicked/punched the husband twice in the face last weekend when the husband put his face close to my belly and made loud noises. He he.. He surprised her.

I tried playing Shake your tailfeather again today to the baby but she didn't respond. Even played the sound of a crowing rooster to her. Still no response. Loud black music doesn't seem to have any effect on her.

The room is still in a mess. I read that pregnant ladies are suppose to go into a nesting stage, where she has the urge to clean closets, and rooms and stuff. Somehow, I'm not in that stage yet. Well the stage better come soon cause I'm getting bigger.

Right, all three monsters are on the bed with me now. Time to escape this mayhem.
