I seldom take photos of what I bake. (most of the time, I forget till after the fact) So Last Monday, while all was quite, I took some photos of the cupcakes I was baking at 1 a.m. I'll leave you with some visuals.

Last weekend, Miss Gi planned a surprise farewell party for Miss C. You may read all about the misadventures over at Miss Gi's blog. Unfortunately for us, we had to go back to Malacca on the same weekend so we couldn't make it to the party. Sorry Chic!

That didn't mean I wasn't going to contribute to the potluck. I did promise Gi and Chic some cakes so I decided to bake anyway. Here's the end product, packaging and all. Pretty packaging is just as important as the content.







Those are cookies and cream cupcakes. Topped with crushed oreo cookies and buttercream.

I also made some dirty-secret cookies. I don't have photos of those but just think fortune cookies, without the fortune but with dirty secrets instead. I heard it was a blast with the party. I'm glad. Wonder how they tasted though.

Hope you enjoyed the cakes Chic. Also hope they tasted alright as I didn't get a chance to taste them before packing them off to Gi.
