My SIL and I have decided to start our own food business so I was busy designing labels, stickers and packaging. (For a moment there, I stumbled several times trying to spell packaging!)
The end results are quite good if I do say so myself. Even our customer thought so! Yes, you read right. We have customers already. Ohhh.. so exciting.
So without further ado, let me introduce you to our new baby,
This is our dessert brand. The main company is Good Eats and we also have another brand for frozen foods. It's all rather mind boggling and its all I think about. My mind is constantly working and thinking about our strategy and business plan.
We also got our second order on the same day I made delivery for the first. Hopefully this is a good sign of things to come.
It probably means less sleep for me though cause the only time I can work is at night when the baby is asleep. Thankfully, she falls asleep at around the same time every night. Lovely babe, that one.
Oh, and can I just add that I have a plugged duct, or two. My right boob is hurting now cause of it and I don't know how to get it out. No amount of massaging is moving the sucker. If it doesn't go away on it's on in a couple of days, I'm going to have to take the happy pills.
Right, back to business. What I really love about our first sale is the packaging. Everything was handmade by me. From the box to the label to the ribbon tie and I think it turned out lovely. It gave the box such a delicate look and it's definitely different that the rest of the packaging that you get out there. It was my goal to steer clear from the norm. Conforming is boring. We need to set ourselves apart from the rest and hopefully we will.
Our customer loved the designs on the cupcakes and gave and approving squeal. It was music to my ears. I was worried she wouldn't be satisfied but she squashed all worries with her squealing. Hehe.
So, if any of you want to have cupcakes, cakes, mini cakes made for someone special, or yourself, I would appreciate your business. Our cakes are delicious (I'm not just saying that, really) and every single item is made with the greatest amount of love.

our cupcakes are going for RM45 for 49 pieces. If you have a flavor you would like, we'll try to make it happen if it's within the price range. RIght now we don't have set designs for the cakes so if you have an idea of what you'd like it to look like, your suggestions are welcome. Our cakes are baked fresh and the buttercream is made specifically for your order. We also have other toppings if you don't like buttercream but I'm not sure of the price range. Let me just say that the cream cheese topping is simply divine!!
