Tooth sighting

The bug's upper left tooth has sprouted. Turns out, the fever wasn't because of the tooth but because of her throat. We would have found this out sooner but the bloody doctor(BD) that I took the bug too didn't check her throat when I asked her to because the bug didn't wanna open her mouth and the BD said the only way to check her throat is if I make her cry. Yup. That's what she said. This are the kind of doctors we are producing today. Don't you just feel a warm glow take over you?

After coming back from JB, we decided to take the bug to a paediatrician to get her checked out cause she was now coughing and feverish and sure enough her throat was swollen. The doctor gave her some antibiotics and some mucus medicine and sent us on our way. The doctor was really nice too. The BD was a GP. She's not even the regular GP that we go to because our regular GP was closed. The BD GP was a last resort. Bygones.

The bug is still coughing and my throat is now sore again due to that I think? Oh how I wish everyone would just get better. I'm sick of being sick. Not sick of trying to be funny though.

Plenty of planning going about these days. Plans for businesses and plans on how to plan for businesses. It's all very mind boggling. The whole starting a business bit. Hope we get things sorted out though.

I'm also starting my own thing soon. (hopefully) If I can get my shit together. Have Mabs to thank for that. She urged me to make some money out of my craftiness and I think I finally am. I even got my first orders today via my wonderful twin cousins who are in highschool. Woohoo! Hooray for highschool going kids with deep pockets.

*sidenote: Yes I blog about my baby here, but I also blog about my life. I also swear alot. So if you don't like the swearing bit, just blink through it when reading. My swearing is rather mild though so It's alright I think.

The husband and I both agree that the bug will probably be swearing, at least a little. I say 'shit' alot. I also say 'ass', 'what the hell' and 'holy shit'. I ocassionally say the F word but that's only in major situations where more serious swearing is required. Since the swearing bit on the bug's side is inevitable, we should start training her to NOT swear in front of the grandparents, aunties and uncles. I think that will be much easier than teaching her not to swear. At least, when I tell her she can't swear in front of the relatives, she can't say, "But you do it!!". Cause I don't. Hah! Full proof plan.

I'm really a mild mannered, sweet person. Really.

Since It's been a while since I last posted a photo of the bug, here's one of her looking cute.

There's something funky going on with her scalp that I'm not too happy about. It's flaky like dandruff but gets sore when scratched. It's making her head look bad. Poor bug. Hope to get that checked out soon.

She's also not been eating much lately. It's starting to worry me. What if she starts going all scrawny? I like my bug with chubby cheeks. Not quite sure how to fix that problem though. The trails and tribulationes of motherhood.

Off to feed the bug her medicine now.
