Bite!

The bug is teething again. I'm guessing it's her two front teeth this time. Wooo boy, I can foresee more painful bitting in the near future.

Because of the teething, she's been having a lowgrade fever for the past couple of days. She'll be feverish and I'll feed her medicine and it'll go away, only to come back a couple of hours later once the effects wear off. It is also making her a very unhappy baby. She's whiny, refuses to eat and cries alot.

Her cheeks have tiny red spots on them because of all the drooling. I sure hope the teeth come soon. My auntie said it hurts more when the cut the top teeth. I guess it must be true because she didn't so much as whimper when she cut her bottom teeth. Suddenly, I saw buds. It totally caught me off guard.

She's also a little pro at drinking with a straw. Everyone was amazed that she could do it. *gleam* This makes meal times much easier.

Will be going back to Mable's kampung tomorrow for a get together. That's Tapah Road, for those not in the know. Hopefully the roads won't be jammed and the weather won't be too hot. Then on Wednesday, will be heading down to Malacca where my dad will be fetching us back to Johor to spend the rest of the week.

Uluwatu opened a shop at The Curve. Uluwatu is a shop in Bali that sells cotton blouses and bedding. We visited the shop when we were in Bali for our honeymoon. The clothes are handmade and features exquisite embroidery. I have to say though, that the clothes over here don't look as nice. Probably cause it's not set in an exotic location. The shop in Bali was a double story outlet with bedding on the second floor. You could see a lady making kebaya's in the center of the shop while rows of clothing surrounded her. They even offered altering services if the clothes didn't fit you just right. Now that's service.

I did flip through the clothing at The Curve but nothing caught my fancy. The prices are the same. The husband said we entered the shop just to relive the moment. Heh. I can't help believe that he's true. We really did enjoy ourselves in Bali and we're looking forward to going again. Whenever that may be.

Did I mention that the bug destroyed my phone? She just loves putting things in her mouth. Especially gadgets. I guess she put my phone in her mouth one too many times and her saliva must have short curcuited the phone. So the phone is now dead and permanently hers. I did get a new phone because of that though so I guess I'm not that mad. Heee.. The old phone was on it's last leg anyway.

In the midst of setting up a small craft business selling clips. Hopefully it'll take off. More news soon! (and perhaps a new blog)
