Family Fun

Tonight, the entire family will be catching a movie together. Ice Age 2. It was kind of a spur of the moment decision. No planning what so ever.

My SIL went, "Lets watch a movie!" to which I replied, "okay!". And that was that. I guess this is what non working wives do at home. They come up with such ideas out of the blue.

I proceeded to book the tickets online which was a major pain in the butt. TGV's site is sooooooooo very slow. It took me more than 10 attempts to book 6 tickets. I needed 10. After trying several more times for the other 4 tickets, I decided to call.

Their Hotline was another headache all together. Instead of saying 'Ice Age' when stating the movie titles, it said '1187' instead. I knew from the website that 1187 was Ice Age because that was what it said when you hovered over the link but I wasn't daring enough to just wing it, so I didn't book. Thankfully, when I tried the second time to book the 4 tickets, they had fixed the problem.

So all in all, I booked 4 tickets via their hotline and 6 tickets online. It took me about 2 hours to do so. I could've just gone to Bukit Raja and come back and it wouldn't have taken that long. Oh well.

All that trouble rewarded me with a headache. Here I am now, 2 hours later, in my room finishing off my ironing. Well not at this very moment, but I was, before I decided to blog.

I am currently working on a sewing project for my baby. So far, I've put together a pillow. At least now the kid has a pillow to sleep on. Even though it doesn't have a mattress yet. Hey, at least we'll know the kid's head will be comfortable. I am planning to sew blankets using the flannel material I bought yesterday. Just have to pre-shrink the darn material first.

Oh, and I've found a new love for papaya.

Quoting my husband, "it doesn't just tenderize meat!"
