My nieces... & nephew :)

Let me introduce my 2 nieces, and nephew to the world. The eldest one is Ainin Sofea. She turns 7 today.

Happy Birthday Ainin!!

The second one is Aina Qaisara. She's 5. And the youngest one is the boy, Afiq Zikri. They are all nice children. Most of the time. :) One would find them cute, when they're not acting up or throwing tantrums.

Ainin is spoilt. Since she's the first grandchild of this family. Her entire baby life is documented in an album. She's the only one, out of the three siblings that has such an album. That explains her behavior. She always wants to get her way, and will sulk, cry, or not talk when she doesn't. She is always tricking her sister into doing things, or giving things to her. She's quite devious. She's also the most ladylike of the two sisters.

Aina is the middle child. That about sums it all up. hehe. She's cute. Her hair is cut short because she is a rough and tumbly kind of kid. Unlike Ainin, she likes to wear short skirts and dresses. She's the more caring when it comes to their little brother though. I've witnessed it several times before, but the latest one was yesterday. We were in Makro and the little guy wanted to sit on the cart with the sisters. So my mother-in-law put him down on the cart next to her. He leaned back on his arms. Upon seeing this, Aina moved her body further behind so that Afiq could lean on her body instead. That really touched my heart. She's so young, yet she's so considerate of her little brother. But she can be a little hard to handle when she's being difficult. But we think it's because she lacks attention. Or, she's asking for it. Oh, and another thing my husband just reminded me about her, she likes to shout. A lot.

Afiq is the youngest. He turns 2 in March. He's really cute. He has curly hair and a cheesy grin. It's really cute. His favorite past time is sitting in his mother's bedroom watching dvd's. His favorite movies are Toy Story 1 & 2, Monsters Inc and A Bugs Life. He can sit infront of the tv all day watching the same movie. That makes him very easy to look after. All you got to to is pop the dvd in the player and hit play. He'll just sit there and watch it. Occasionally, he'll run out of the bedroom. He'd do that when the scenes scare him or bore him. :p He runs out when Emperor Zurg escapes from the box, when Zurg is on the elevator kicking Buzz's butt, and when Jessie is telling Woody her sob story. (I remember these things because I've watched it about a dozen times with him.) He still can't speak yet. He can say the basic words though. Like, mama, daddy, auntie, uncle, kakak, nak, tak nak, keluar, bukaye and tepi ah. The last one, courtesy of my husband.

Unfortunately, all three of them aren't feeling well. They're all suffering from the same thing. Vomiting and diarrhea. One after another. It started with Aina. Afiq and Ainin got it at about the same time. While both of them were far apart. Afiq was staying over at the babysitters (their parents were away for the night) and Ainin was at home. Brought them to SJMC for a checkup. Doctor said it's just wind. Huh. Gave them loads of medicine. Ainin is much better now, but Afiq is still purging. His mother doesn't know what else to do now. Kak Liza brought Afiq out with her today, with no destination. She doesn't know where to go, she just feels she needs to do something to cure her son.

Poor guy. Hope he gets well soon.
