Everyday, the bug will request for me to read one of the books from this stack here. Sometimes, she'll get me to read each and everyone of them.
The books aren't stack in order of her favorite ones. She likes all of them equally I think. Although, her first love is the I see you, you see me book. That's the first one we read to her.
She goes crazy in bookstores. If she's in her carrier, she'll demand to be let loose to roam free and thumb all the books, get them off their shelves, rearrange them, flip through them and generally make a mess.
So, either the husband or I will be busy chasing after her, putting books back, and keeping up with her. It's no longer safe to just let her walk about what with the kidnappings nowadays.
We bought a couple of the Dr. Seuss books while the bug was still an infant. Only now has she grown a liking to it. Mainly because the graphics in those books aren't very conventional or colorful. But she enjoys them for the stories, these days. I still have a couple more Dr. Seuss books stored way up on the book shelve, waiting to be introduced to her, when the time is right.
I'm glad she has such a love for reading, and books. Hopefully, it's an everlasting one.
