I turn 27 on Sunday. Gosh that's a lot of numbers.
Do I feel that old though? I don't think so. People who know me would say I'm still a child at heart and I probably will be for a long time to come. Not to say that my life is problem free always. I do have things I worry about off and on.
What am I getting at? I am not sure. Just thought I ought to make an entry dedicated to the event. I don't normally make a big deal about my birthday. Yes I'll bug everyone who'll listen about it but that doesn't mean I'm actually expecting a big bash with cake and balloons. Last year, I forgot it was my birthday till I got some messages from people.
This year might be slightly different. For one, we (the entire family) will be going out for dim sum in Cyberjaya. I couldn't decide between sushi and dim sum so the mother-in-law decided for me. We'll be going out on Saturday since we're going back to Tapah on Sunday to go mangoesteen picking and have Ice Kacang.
The husband asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I said nothing. Couldn't think of anything I really want. Perhaps a trip to borders to buy a book or two. Other than that, there's really nothing that I want.
This year's birthday, and those to come will be significantly different now that we have the bug. It's definitely going to be much more fun and lively as the years go by and the bug grows up.
I am however more interested in planning HER birthday which is about less that 2 months away. I have a rough idea about what I want to do. It's going to involve monkeys, white and blue, and lots of handmade goodies. Or, if I end up procrastinating till the seventh hour, it'll be a cake and some balloons. Stay tuned!
She's starting to walk now. She's been staggering about the house a lot. She still hasn't gotten the hang of it but is much more confident than when she started last Wednesday. I think it's safe to say that she'll be walking steadily by her first birthday.
She's a source of such joy, that bug. Never cease to amaze us. She's only 10 months old and she can climb on the lazy boy, climb up and down the steps, bulldoze over anyone in her way and scream till your ear drums feel like bursting. She's quite a handful but in a good way.
She's quite taken by her father and cries when he goes to work. Which is sweet but only when the husband isn't in a hurry to leave.
I've had blog posts in my head the past week but didn't get down to typing them out. I've forgotten most of what I wanted to say too. So you'll just have to trust me when I say it would have been mind blowing.
Oh, I just had an epiphany! Right, will move on to the next post.
