Today's visit was great.
Got to see the parasite's face. Doctor exclaimed, "She's got such chubby cheeks!!".
Indeed, she has. They looked round and full. Can't wait to hold that chubby face in my hands.
She put on 500gms. She now weighs 2.4kgs. I on the other hand, am not charting any weight gain. Doctor seemed concerned. She didn't make such a fuss though since the parasite seems to be growing.
The parasite's head was up, instead of down. In other words, she's breeched. However, the doctor said there's still time so there's nothing to worry about.
On the other hand, she said, I'm 36 weeks now and I can go into labor at anytime. Quite contradictory don't you think?
She said, pack your bags and make sure your papers are in order.
Right. Need to pack bags. Need to obtain papers.
3 signs to look out for. Gushing water. The kind you can't hold in. Blood+mucus. Hardening of belly.
Don't wait for all three, or it's going to be a home delivery.
baby's heart rate is fine. 155.
No coil around her neck. She's still a girl. :)
She was resting on her right hand during the scan.
All in all, everything is fine and we're now at the stage where it's anytime now, so be ready.
Will be visiting the doctor in a week and she'll be talking to me about pain management. Whoopee! Can't wait for THAT talk.
Will be registering with the hospital this weekend. Have gotten the letter from the doctor. Any day now.
Thanks for staying with me on this journey. It's nearing the end now and we (the husband and I) are looking forward to welcoming this chubby little parasite into our lives.
