7 months

We're almost there. 29 weeks now. Time flies!! Infact, I was sort of surprised that I was already 7 months. It sort of caught me offguard.

My dear friend Mable said I should stop calling the parasite, 'parasite' because one fine day, she's going to grow up and learn how to read and surf the Internet and stumble upon my blog and find out that I call her that and she's going to want some explanations.

We'll I've thought of a solution for when that day comes. I'm going to sit her down, get her father, and I'm going to go out for a very long drive.

That's my plan. It's foolproof. The husband has been informed of the plan and he had no objections.

I have no idea in what position the parasite is lying in right now. I feel kicks/punches coming from all directions so it's hard to tell. I suppose she could be lying head down with all the ribbing I get every now and then, but I can't be sure.

I guess we'll find out more when we go to the doctor's this Sunday. Yay!! Will get to see baby P again.

Hopefully, my sugar level would've gone back to normal. Wouldn't want to be reprimanded by the doctor for presence of sugar in my urine cause we didn't go back and take the blood test the last time.

But I did do it in JB when I went back and the doctor said my sugar level was fine.

It is growing increasingly difficult for me to find a comfortable position to sleep in and if I happen to fall asleep in a wrong position, I end up waking up aching all over.

It's also hard for me to roll around cause of my belly. If I were lying on my back, it'd be like, roll - bump - roll. It's getting over the bump that's hard. Heh. Last night, I wanted to snuggle close to the husband so I rolled - bumped - rolled. However, when I was done rolling, he said, I'm going upstairs to the bathroom. -_-' It was amusing though. We had a good laugh over it.

My belly has grown bigger, I suspect. I haven't measured it recently but I now only feel comfortable in bigger tees. So most of my smaller tees have been put in storage. I shall soon have to resort to wearing the husband's tees.

It is recommended that a mother keep track of how often her baby kicks in a day by the 28th month. Cause lack of activity could mean something is wrong with the baby. I however feel, I don't have to do so because the parasite will kick every so often. Think she wants to remind me she's in there.

2 days back, I felt her kicking something squishy near my ribs. I have a feeling that after the delivery, if I were to do a x-ray, I would find that all my internal organs have been rearranged. Perhaps I'm carrying a future interior designer.

Thankfully, she no longer kicks my bladder so much. That's a relief.

I've been having dreams of giving birth and the parasite. In my dreams, the delivery didn't hurt that much. I did feel some smarting from the tearing that comes with delivery but that was it. I didn't scream my head off or wail in pain or complain. Which is a very good sign I think. Hopefully, It will be the same in real life.

As for the parasite, she was adorable. she had big brown eyes and had soft curls for hair. Her hair was more dark brown than black. Which was pretty. She was a healthy size I think. It was a nice dream, while it lasted.

I also have my fair share of crazy dreams as well. One of them involved Paris for American Idol, me driving a perdana and going down a steep slope backwards among other things.

I think I've gained weight. I'm not sure how much though.

I've been having leg cramps of late, and they were quite bad 2 nights ago. The cramps normally go away if I straighten my feet, but that night, the cramps simply refuse to go away and it was that way for what seemed like a very long time. I was however too exhausted to get up and do anything about it. So I continued sleeping.

They used to say it was because of lack of Calcium due to it being absorbed by the parasite but they're not so sure now. So lets just blame it on the hormones. That always works.

A couple of weeks back, I wanted to get some clothes from the wardrobe to wear after a shower. But when I opened the door, the door wouldn't open fully cause it was stopped by my belly, which in returned caused my belly to hurt because I was quite forceful when opening the door.

It startled me, and then I laughed. Silly me. I apologized to the parasite and made a mental note to stand further back from then on.

One of my favorite things to do now is lie in bed with my shirt halfway up and watch the belly dance. That is when the parasite is game for it. It's just fun to watch her kick and move around in there. One of the simple pleasures of pregnancy.

We got 4 new articles of clothing from Jakarta. 3 onesies and a very pretty dress. The dress is seriously pretty. It's blue and it has a satin ribbon which meets in the middle to form a bow at the waist of the dress. At the bottom corners of the dress, there are embroidered flowers.

She can only wear it when she's about 1 yr plus though. Provided that the parasite is really a girl.

We might be changing her name though. Oh, have I mentioned names yet? I can't remember. Doesn't matter if I have.

We had settled on Nurul Iliya for a girl's name but it now might be changed to Iliya May, instead. I thought it'd be nice to have a slightly chinese sounding name. So her cousins in Malacca won't have such a hard time pronouncing it.

We can't find any suitable name that goes with the boy's name though so I guess we'll just have to stick with what we have. We are changing the boy's name to Muhammad Adam though, as opposed to Muhammad Danial because Danial is so common. Even the kid next door is called Danial. I'm pretty sure there are plenty of people out there called Adam as well but I don't know anyone named Adam and thats what counts.

All the baby clothes have been washed, folded and kept in the drawers. Somehow, I don't think we have enough clothes. All of the clothes could fit on one umbrella hanger. That's not enough, in my opinion.

Haven't finished the baby blankie. I've been lazy. I'm sorry. Will hop to it once I've finished with some important things.

The room has to be cleaned as well. Argghh.. so many things to do, so little motivation. Cause seriously, I just lack motivation, not time.

Too many distractions around. For the past week, I've been playing alot with sugarpaste and have been involved in flower making for an upcoming engagement. That has thrown a wrench into my daily schedule. We're done with flower making though so hopefully I will be able to get some things done in preparation for the parasite's arrival.

Will go furniture shopping in August, during the sales. Hopefully, what we plan to purchase will be on sale during that time. Then we can save some money for other things. But even if it isn't, it's okay cause we're not planning getting top of the range furniture anyway. Getting reasonably price yet reliable furniture. Probably from ikea or Mothercare. Haven't really decided yet. We'll see which is cheaper during time of purchase. We're not being cheap, we're being practical.

My belly button is now constantly protruding, except when I'm lying down. It's really noticable under my shirt/blouse. Can't be bothered to do anything about it though. Really should get surgical tape to tape it down. It sometimes feels odd when it rubs against my clothes.

I can no longer laugh too hard or sneeze too much or I'll leak urine. Just thought I'd state that for my own remembrance. Sorry if it grosses you out.

The other day, the husband and I were lazing in bed and just enjoying each other company trying to see who can annoy who most. I was laughing so hard that I had to take a time out before I peed in my pants. I then excused myself to go pee before resuming our activities. Just to be safe.

Well, that's all I have to report for now. Will add more if I remember. Photos to be added later. If my memory doesn't fail me.

The part about the door hitting your belly? I bet it wasn't the belly growing big. It wasn't that at all.

It's because you have short arms.
