I'm knitting today. I've not knitted in oh, about close to a week. I got sidetracked by New Super Mario Bros. Heh!
Right. Will be spending most of next week in Johor since the husband will be in Singapore for a meeting and the in-laws will be in Jakarta for two weeks.
I should try to finish my knitting by this week. Won't have much time when I get back from Johor since we have to prepare for the farewell party of the year.
Not much to go, but I find myself getting really sleepy each time I pick up my needles. It's how I get when I'm trying to revise my books.
Nothing new to report on the parasite front. She's kicky as always. Most days, more kicky than others. I kind of enjoy it though. I have constant company with me. Except the only thing that she does is kick.
There was a mini scare sometime late last week when she hardly moved all day. Even if she did, I must have missed it. I could've sworn she was quite all day.
By nightfall, I started getting worried. I tapped my belly and she gave me some slight movements but then stopped. The husband said, maybe she's just tired. That didn't reassure me.
However, later that night, she resumed her regular kicky self and I felt better. I told myself that I wouldn't complain anymore no matter which internal organ she chose to kick.
I didn't stand by my word though because last Sunday, while Aznin and I were grocery shopping at Tesco, she decided to kick my bladder repeatedly and I reprimanded her for doing so.
I even threatened to bite her nose when she came out. I'm sorry.
The niece came us a moment ago and told me I'm doing this knitting thing all wrong. The mother otter on PB & J holds her needles differently.
I'm being given knitting tips from a 7 yo who's only knitting reference is talking otters.
Well, I should procrastinate any longer and get back to my needles, they won't knit themselves.
