A whole new world

I'm having one of my 'emotional attacks' again. So here I am, in front of the notebook, instead of sleeping.

I find that listening to some soothing recitations calms my nerves.

Anyway, back to what I wanted to talk about. My darling husband opened a whole new world of crochet to me today. He introduced me to amigurumi, unintentionally.

Amigurumi is the art of crocheting stuffed toys. Typically Japane-sy toys.

It seems, there are tons of site/blogs dedicated to the art. Who knew??

I am now tempted to attempt some of the patterns. Hmmm, must create a priority list now. I have a couple of urgent items on my plate which require speedy completion.

I will most definitely be making this though. Because the husband loves it so much. I think it's pretty cute too. We are big Mario buffs, incase you couldn't already tell.

On an entirely unrelated note, I just peeled something off my face that felt like a white head. My cheek now hurts. I'm sitting in the dark, therefore I cannot examine the state of my cheek. I'll know tomorrow.

With that, I end my post.
