Happy new year?

Is it too late? Nah.. don't think so.

So far 2006 has been swell. The husband got a new job, I met some new people, ate some bad food, got some good news and went to the gynea for the first time.

All in that order too!

Interesting huh?? Yeah. My first trip to the gynea was interesting too I tell you. Quite disturbing too. Lets just say I felt violated. But the preparing I did to see her. Haha. You'd think I was meeting my boyfriend for the first time. Took extra effort to groom myself. Guess I was expecting to be violated huh??

The new semester has begun. My results are nothing short of spectacular. Not. Oh well, bygones. Won't be taking that much this semester though. Must focus on quality instead of quantity.

I like the new setup of my room. Well, it isn't actually new. It's been like this for the past half month now. Still relatively new I guess. The desk is facing the window now or rather, I'm facing the window now when I sit at the desk. It's nice, sitting at the desk with the windows open. I can hear the birds chirping and ocassionally feel the breeze. Nothing like fresh air. We also recently 'acquired' a set of really nice sounding speakers so the music now sounds much sweeter.

The bed has also been shifted to the opposite side of the room and the wardrobe was pushed to the other end. I did this all by myself while the family was in Jakarta. I was aching for the rest of the day and the next. Was well worth it though I suppose.

Will probably need to do somemore shifting of furniture in the next couple of months. Oh well, that can wait, still.

I suddenly want to eat fried bananas or banana fritters, whichever you prefer. Unfortunately, I don't have a car nor do I know how to get there. Hah. *sigh*

I like listening to Bread. They're like Bee Gees but not quite. The husband doesn't know who Bread is. I shall educate him tonight.

bye.

not sure whether you take the chinese pantang to mind but expecting mommies are not supposed to shift house or shift furniture around. not sure what the reasoning is but no harm just being on the safe side, eh?

take care little mommy.
