There will always be those people who are always complaining about something.
Today I came across a blog on blogspot that was complaining about the way blogger censored blogs. If you are the observant kind, you'd notice that there's this function to 'flag' a blog you are at if you feel that that blog is in anyway, offensive.
Once you flag a blog, it will no longer be updated in bloggers 'recently updated blogs' list.
So this blogger's blog got blocked because he was flagged. Now he's all unhappy and demanding an explanation from blogger about what kind of blog falls under the offensive category.
He even started a new blog on blogspot, mind you, to complain about the issue. He had to do that because he wasn't getting the traffic to his old blog anymore, after being flagged.
What I want to know is, why on earth is he complaining about it in the first place. Blogspot is a free service after all. You will have to abide by their rules. If you're so unhappy about it, why not set up your own website, get your own server and post whatever it is you wish to post. It's your own domain so you make the rules.
Doesn't that make more sense? Instead, he chose to setup a new blog and complain about the issue at hand. He even posted images of nazis flagging stores from long ago. Sheesh. It doesn't cost that much to startup your own website.
All you need is an old cpu as a server and a domain name. You can sign up for a domain name from the plethora of services found on the Internet. The sky is your limit then.
Even we have our own website (Aznin and I). :p We don't even have anything mind blowing to say. Heh.
Another issue I find ridiculous is the iPod nano users complaining that their nanos scratch easily. Oh come on!! It's made of shiny plastic. What do you expect?? Even my iPod mini scratches, and it's made of aluminium. That's why they sell the sleeves.
I guess they figured since it's from Apple, they would complain about it and get replacements or something. So silly. As stupid as the complaints are though, Apple had to give in and the nanos are now shipping with sleeves. I guess they just wanted to shut them up. It'll probably work. People, regardless of where they are from, are kiasu in general. Anything that is free, is good.
As my father would say, if you don't want it to scratch, keep it in the showroom. (He was refering to cars, but I think it applies here too.)
So to all those iPod nano owners, if you don't want it to scratch, keep it in the box.
Okay, I'm done bitching. Have a nice day folks! :)
p.s. The title is my dad's saying too. An idiot is born every minute. Good one.
