I'm currently listening to that song on repeat. Artist, Celine Dion, because in my opinion, she makes that song sound more depressing than Eric Carmen ever could. Maybe it's because she's female and we females have a way of making everything emotionally disturbing when we want to.
Why, you may ask am I doing so. Well, it's because I'm ironing. Somehow, I feel ironing at 1 in the morning is depressing and the only depressing song I know is this one. I only had the one sung by Eric Carmnen. So, after listening to it after 10 times or so, I decided to download the Celine Dion version for the added effect.
The titanic soundtrack is also rather depressing but that one is too focused on lover lost. This one seems more general. Maybe I should make a playlist of 'generally depressing songs' for when I do ironing at ungodly hours again.
