Overdue updates

I've been lazy. Very lazy. Don't ask me why, I just am. It's been a week since my last update. I'm horrid. Oh well. I'm pretty sure no one missed me.

My passport has been sent to the travel agency to make the visa. Hehe. I'm really doing this. I'm really going to China! Unbelievable. Will be my second time on an airplane. Sorry, I'm a bit jakun. I'll be leaving on the 3rd of May, tentatively, at 2:00 a.m., KLIA. Anyone want to see me off? Welcomed to do so. Hehe..

My face seems to be breaking out. I have 3 pimples on my face. That's a lot compared to the normal 'NO' pimples. Why?? Why do I have pimples? I wash my face everytime I shower. I use my skin care products (almost) religiously. So I don't understand how I can get pimples. Maybe I've finally hit puberty?? A-hah!! That's probably it.

I applied for my FIRST job last Tuesday. Heheh.. It's a big deal to me cause I've never worked before in my life and the thought of working scares me. I have a huge problem with speaking in public and I'm normally quiet around people I don't know. Did I mention that I've never worked before? I have? Oh, okay. It just freaks me out.

Lucky for me, my good friend Ridzuan, understands my apprehension. I told him my woes and he said it's natural to feel that way and that all I have to do is toughen up and try to get through the first week. (or more) Once I've gotten over my initial fear, I'll be all right. Right. That's sound advice. I shall try. Thanks Ridz.

Will be going back to Malacca this weekend. I have no idea where we'll be staying but I hope it's not uncle Yaakob's again. Not that I don't like him or anything. His family is nice, but I don't like imposing on them too often. Shy la.

Had a birthday party for Afiq last Saturday. It was a blast. The kids really enjoyed themselves. There weren't many people at the party but it was festive and fun nontheless. The guests consisted of Mak ndak's family, mak anjang and her daughter and Ibu's family. Not much. Mak ndak and mak anjang came early and they helped prepare the food. Haha. The guests had to cook their own food. Kesian.

I blowed balloons and packed the party packs which had kit kats, hersheys hugs and kisses, Barbie gum and lollipops in it. Afiq got an electronic drumset from Kak Liza. He also got a toy truck, a plushie snake and a lamaze book. He liked all of them. I'll try to post the pictures up soon. I'm a lazy assed procrastinator, be patient.

I'm freaking sleeply right now. I am in the middle of an online tutorial. My lecturer, (the previously-evil one) is talking btu I'm not understanding a thing because of his accent. There are only 4 students attending this class. Sheesh. I'm sleepy. I want to sleep.

I'm gonna get some breakfast. Have a nice weekend.
