I'm back from class. Today was a good day I think. My lecturer is an african american. :O And here I was, thinking he was a Japanese or something. It was because of his name. Boy was I soooo wrong. But it doesn't matter. Class was good. I have a good feeling about all of this. He even praised me for my attentiveness and being very interactive in class. Cool. Either that or he was just hitting on me. Erghh.. Freaky. But then, that'd be so pig headed of me. So, I'm gonna take it as a genuine compliment to my intelligence. Yay for ME!!
I woke up at 10 today, but got out of bed at 10:45 a.m. I was too lazy to crawl out of bed. So I just rolled around in bed for 45 minutes. Finally, I decided it was time to get up cause I had class to go to. I avoided taking the bus again today. Muahahahaha... My in-laws sent me to class. Because rahim (my brother in law) had class to. He's studying in KDU so it's along the way. YAY for ME, again. After showering, I went downstairs to have breakfast. Kak liza, (my sister in law) was surprised to see me cause they thought I had already left the house in the morning with my husband. Hehe.. Well, I was suppose to, but my lecturer cancelled the class due to some 'unforseen circumstances'. Heh. Oh well.
At about 11:30, we left the house. Sent Rahim off to class and we went to Giant to have lunch. Mama and ayah has never been into Giant, KJ. So they wanted to go in la and see what's there to eat. We were torn between Burger King and Laksa Shack. I am not a big fan of laksa, but I do eat it. After spending a few minutes contemplating, we decided to eat at the laksa shack cause mama was attracted to the ice kacang. We went in, sat and had our orders taken. My food and drinks were the first to come. And that was after a long while. As for mama and ayah, they had to wait so much longer. The service was crap. It was so darn slow. After the food had arrived, it took a whole 30 minutes (or more) for the drinks to arrive. By then, ayah had already finished eating and mama was on fire. The guy that makes the drinks is also the guy that cleans the table, takes the order and sends the drinks. So you can imagine how efficient they are. Mama said she's never stepping foot in that establishment anymore. Problem is, we're not the only one that encountered the problem. So many other people faced the same thing. Food arriving but no sign of drinks. At the rate they're going, they probably will end up with no customers.
After eating, we went to senheng to buy a fridge. The one at home is not working anymore. Well, the door isn't working. It won't close properly. After looking at almost all the fridges available, we decided on the Hitachi. It's a nice looking fridge with lots of space in it. More space to store leftovers!! hmm... that's not a good thing. Oh well, mama paid for the fridge and I went to class.
As I was walking along the corridor of UNITAR, I saw the back of a guy that looked very much like my friend, Ridzuan. I called out his name and he turned around. It was him! It's been a while since I last saw him. A few months really. We talked a bit then we had to go to class so we said good bye. But we'd be seeing each other regularly in class cause we're both taking IR, so we can catch up later. I think he's taking full time classes too?
Mama and ayah decided to shop in Giant for groceries and fetch me after class. Coolness. That means I wouldn't have to wait for my husband to fetch me after work. Me happy. Rahim wasn't coming back with us though, cause his friend was sending him back. So it was just the three of us.
Something really funny happened at the Plaza tol in subang. We were at the Touch 'n' Go station. There was a car in front of us. He was frantically touching his card to the machine but nothing happened. Ayah was already making noise at him. I noticed that his card wasn't the Touch 'n' Go card. It was actually the Bonuslink card. Ahahahahha.. Funny. He finally realized too, and changed the card. It finally worked and he went on his way. Halfway from the tol, I looked to the left and the guy was laughing and he smiled at us while shaking his head, probably at his own silliness. Terus tak jadi marah. We found it hilarious and couldn't stop laughing. It was all good.
Finally reached home at about 4:45? And here I am now. Typing on my blog. I'll be on the bus to Johor tonight at 8. I'm feeling tired, but I can sleep on the bus later. Now I have to go pray and pack my stuff so that I won't be rushing tonight.
Before I forget, I want to wish you all a Happy Aidiladha to all my muslim readers and may you all have an enjoyable day with your relatives and loved ones. I know I will, Insyah'Allah.
